Our client is an award-winning online company— They are looking for a skilled ASP.NET developer to help us create the best site on the planet.

Summary

We’re looking for an ASP.NET ninja who enjoys creating the perfect custom object, dreams in C# (or VB), and takes pride in turning a great design into a great user experience. You’ll be part of a tight development team with no weak links, where your talent will be appreciated and you’ll be given as much responsibility as you can handle.

There are no clients and no cheesy corporate environment. We work smartly and efficiently and turn good ideas into real, live features as fast as possible. Your work will be seen and used by thousands of regular people every day—including your friends and family—and be reviewed (and praised) in major newspapers and national magazines.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, intuitive, addictive Web 2.0 applications using ASP.NET 3.5 and SQL Server 2008

• Use object-oriented design principles to create efficient, modular code that integrates with the work of others

• Work with talented front-end AJAX developers to build seamless applications that users will love

• Be an integral part of a development team that imagines, designs and implements new features and technologies on a regular basis

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience programming ASP.NET applications (.NET 2.0 and 3.5) in VB, C# or both

• Expert in Visual Studio 2005/2008

• Good knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and Stored Procedures

• Familiar with AJAX front-end techniques

• Be prepared to show and discuss examples of your best work

• Bonus Points: LINQ, Flash, web video, widgets, ASP.NET AJAX, experience with geocoded data.
